Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

Me, and the kids in front of our tree

I can't believe that the weekend is already almost over! We had so much fun and stayed very busy all weekend.

We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving day, we had dinner with the Fuhriman family, then Reid had to go to work that night and I went and spent the evening with my family as we ate left over turkey. It was fun to just sit around and visit.
On friday we were a little lazy in the morning, but then Reid and I went to the temple with my family and had dinner with them at the temple. Then we went and visited with his family in the evening. On Saturday we went to Island Park and got Christmas trees. It was fun to get out, it snowed lightly all day, we built a fire and had lunch outside. It was cold, but fun to sit around the fire. We are now excited to put up our Christmas tree and all our decorations.

I am kind of glad that all the festivities of the weekend are over, I have been so exhausted and not feeling so great. I think it is because I have been so tired!

Excited for the fun Weekend!

Not a whole lot has been going on around here but a little bit of runny noses and coughs, nothing too exciting. But we are all looking forward to the fun, festive Holiday weekend that is coming. We are looking forward to eating lots of turkey and pie, and seeing our family that is coming up from Utah. The kids are excited about going to Madagascar with Aunt Sara on friday, and they are excited to see their cousins from Salt Lake. We are all looking forward to going on Saturday and getting our Christmas tree. That is one of our holiday traditions to go cut down our own tree. They aren't the best looking trees, but it is the experience that counts (right?) Anyway, I don't have a lot to say other than we are excited for all the upcoming fun later in the week!

Happy Late Birthdays!

I want to wish my brother-in-law's Danny and Ben very Happy Late Birthdays! Both of their Birthday's are this month and I am kind of failing at remembering them on their actual birthdays! I feel the most bad about Danny's because we got him a birthday present and meant to get it to him yesterday when Reid, Savanna and Mitchel went down to Salt Lake, but half way through the day I realized that the birthday present was still sitting in our bedroom. I guess that he will get it this weekend when he comes for Thanksgiving! I just want Ben and Danny to know that they are the best brother-in-law's I could ask for and I appreciate them always being kind to me, and my kids absolutely adore them as Uncles! It is strange to me that when Reid and I first got married they were just kids, and now they have grown in to such good men.

This is for Sara

Me and my friend Steve Carrell.

This post is for my sister Sara who is in Japan on business and has no English speaking channels to watch at night while in her hotel room. I'm sorry that you can't be home tonight to watch "The Office". I just got the popcorn popped and the ice water ready so I can sit down and enjoy the show.

Reid and I and the kids went out tonight to go to Walmart and Barnes and Noble the only problem was that Savanna and Mitchel fell asleep before we could get to either store. So I sat in the van while Reid went into Walmart, and then he sat in the van while I went into Barnes and Noble. So much for our evening together shopping. Oh well, my kids are very excited to go to Madagascar 2 with Aunt Sara. Mitchel has been carrying around your invitation since he got it in the mail yesterday.

New Family pictures and baby announcement

I love this picture of the kids because it shows their personalities so much!

So we took our family pictures a few weeks ago so that we could send out Christmas cards with a picture. I wanted to send the cards out early this year, because we announced in the family card that we are expected baby #4 and that is how I wanted to tell my family and since I am starting to show I needed to get them out early. It was kind of fun to just send the news in the mail and wait to hear everyone's response. I am due June 10th so I am 11 weeks along, and I am hoping that magically after next week when I hit 12 weeks I will start feeling better. I haven't really been super sick, just feeling kind of crummy, especially at night.

Savanna already has the names picked out Lynnlee if it is a girl and Hunter if it is a boy. I doubt those are the names we would go with, but I think that it is cute that she has her opinion about it. I put the new family pictures up. We just went over to my parents neighbors house and had a few snap shots taken. I thought they weren't to bad for free! (Thanks to my father in law Steve for taking the pictures!)

Gymnastics Girl

Savanna is taking gymnastics, and she loves it! I'm really glad that she does, but she is starting to drive me nuts!! She goes around the house all day long doing cartwheels, hand stands, backbends, headstands, and whatever else she can do. She is completely unaware of what is going on around her so we have had many "accidents" when she has kicked someone in the face on her way to doing one of her tricks. I am about to put my foot down and say no more gymnastics in the house. It is hard because I want her to be able to develop her talent, but I am on my last nerve with it!!

Treyton's new tricks

We have had a pretty un-eventful week at our house, but Treyton has figured out a few things that have made our nights interesting.

He has figured out how to get out of his crib, so usually at night I rock him for a few minutes until he is a bit drowsy then I put him in his crib and he goes to sleep. Well this isn't working so well anymore because he just gets right out of his bed over and over. There have been a few nights when I have had to put him back in bed up to 10 times. I have even been in bed myself and I hear little footprints, and get up to find him wondering the dark house.

He has also figured out how to take off his clothes and diaper. So two nights in a row I have gone to check on him and he has been naked. One morning when I went to get him up so I could go to work, I walked into the room it smelled really strongly of urine. And then I realized he had no diaper on and he had peed all over in his bed. Thank goodness for washing machines. Now I have to be really careful to make sure he has his diaper on after he is asleep.

Sleepover's gone wrong!

Tonight Savanna and Mitchel were having a sleep-over at their Grandma Mickey's house with their cousins that are here from SLC. I was a little worried that Mitch wouldn't want to stay the night because he is such a home body, but he said that he wanted to. Well I get a phone call about 9:00 pm from Grandma and so I thought for sure she would say that he wanted to come home, but no it was Savanna. She was very sick with a headache, and she just wanted to come home. So I got right in the car and went and got her. When I got her in the car to come home she just started to cry that she had a tummy ache, I asked her if she needed to throw up and she said no, just hurry home. Then we get a ways down the road and she said she had to throw up, so I pulled over and got her out, but she couldn't throw up. So I got her bag full of clothes emptied and told her that if she needed to throw up while I was driving to do it in the bag, and sure enough she did. Poor thing threw up several times in the car. By the time we got home the bag was full of vomit, so it just went in the garbage. We got her bathed and calmed down and she was feeling a lot better when we get another phone call from Grandma, now Mitch wants to come home. He's not sick, just homesick. So Reid headed off to get him.

I can't complain, because when I was young anytime I had a sleepover my Mom almost always had to come and get me because I would get so homesick, I would think that I could do it, but when it was time for bed I just couldn't. It is nice to have them all home in their own beds.

I figured it out!

Treyton riding the ride at Leo's place
Treyton and Addison riding the train
Reid and the kids on Halloween night!

Can you all believe that I actually figured out "Cutest Blog on the Block" all by myself. I know, you have all done it for months. I finally took the time to do it. I thought I could after all of your encouragement from when I complained about not knowing how to do it. It is actually kind of easy and fun!!
Also, I am really excited because today we took family pictures. Reid's Dad just snapped a few shots of us outside at my parents neighbors house, they turned out pretty cute (even though it was drizzling outside.) And now I can get working on my Christmas cards. I will post the pictures after I get the cards out.

Today we also went to Leo's Place with Reid's parents and Lori, her kids, and the Hamilton kids. Reid's sister Corri had a new baby, so Grandma Fuhriman is watching her other kids while she is at home recovering in SLC from having her new baby girl. Anna Myrle Hamilton. We are excited to have a new cousin and niece. The kids were having so much fun playing at Leo's place, but I only got pictures of the babies riding on the little rides, Savanna and Mitch and the older cousins were busy playing in the big play area.

New week!

I made it through my crazy, busy week, and it is so nice to have a little bit of slower pace so far this week. I am trying to get caught up on laundry and housework today, but it is slow going. It is nice not having to go to work today and to be able to just stay home with my kids.

I'm looking forward to going out to vote, and to see the results tonight. I am kind of nervous to see what happens. I have decided that I just can't worry about it, I only need to spend time worrying about things that I have control over. (This is much easier said that done!)

I also need to start preparing my talk for Church on Sunday- yes I have to speak in Sacrament meeting. I am pretty nervous about it, but it will also be over before I know it.

We had a really good Halloween weekend the kids enjoyed going trick-or-treating. We went and saw my Grandma Call, Grandma Mickey and my parents. Mitchel fell asleep in the car so I dropped him and Treyton off at my parents while I took Savanna around our neighborhood. It was fun, and they ended up with way too much candy that I am having a hard time staying out of!!!

My sister Sara came home this last weekend too, and we had fun seeing her and she took pictures with the kids for her Christmas card. I hope that the pictures turn out good for her.
