We went to the spray park again today. It was a lot better today because it was hot, the last time we went it was super cold and the kids didn't want to play in the water. We went with Lori, Roxanne, Holly, Ruth and Angie and all the kids. They had a lot of fun. We took a picnic lunch and just let the kids play. I wore my swim suit and played in the water with Carolina and she had a blast, that is what made it so fun for me. Plus I love visiting with my sisters. I missed my Mom today, she couldn't come.

Bear Lake 2010

We went to Bear Lake this last weekend with the Fuhriman family, we all had a lot of fun and came home exhausted. The weather was great and so was the food and the company. We were introduced to Bear Lake 6 years ago when my sister Sara planned our Romrell reunion there and ever since we have been hooked and love going there. It is such a beautiful relaxing place with a fun kid friendly beach. Would I rather be in Hawaii or the Caribbean? Of course, but since we can't afford to do that and we live so close to Bear Lake we will try to go there almost every year if possible.

The kids love to play on the beach, and could stay out there for hours. We camped at Rendevous Campground on the South side of the Lake, it is a really nice campground (all except the grumpy old man that is the camp host). He kept coming and yelling at us for every slight infraction- Ok, already you can be polite about it can't you. The only other complaint I have is that now I am finding sand everywhere I turn. Oh well, it is worth it for the fun memories!

We found this was the only way to get her to take a nap, take her for a ride in the bike stroller.
My cute husband setting up camp.

Carolina found a bag of chips, I think she ate more sand than chips

Treyton just loved playing in the sand. They all spent hours collecting sea shells
Savanna and Sarah

Aaron and Reid setting up the blow-up trampoline that Aaron brought. It was a lot of work setting up and taking down. Was it worth it?.......yes! At least it was for me, you would have to ask Aaron if he thought it was worth the effort.

Mitch

Carolina as happy as can be, she has her chips and a chair her size, what more can she ask for?

I had to take this picture of Corri hauling all her beach stuff. Really nice of me to take a picture rather than go and help huh?

Another nap, only this time the two of them.

Roxanne burried Mitch all the way up to his neck, he thought that was so cool.

Savanna needed to have her turn to get buried.

Fun summer weekend

We went to the drive in last night and saw "Toy Story 3". It was fun, but poor little Carolina sure didn't want to sit still while we sat and watched it in the back of the truck. We were all pretty tired and so we only stayed for the 1st show.

Today we went to the Melaleuca picnic at Riverbend Ranch. I have been going to these picnics for many years, and each year they just keep getting bigger and bigger. They had a nice lunch, all you can eat pop, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream and snow-cones. They also had tons of fun toys and games for the kids. They had a lot of fun. It was really hot, luckily there was a breeze that made it bearable.

Savanna on the climbing wall

They loved the climbing wall and did it over and over again.

They had the coolest jumper thing, the kids were doing all kind of flips.

Mitchel

Savanna- it took her a while to figure out how to do a back-flip, but she finally got it.

Treyton- howdy cowboy!
They even had pony rides
