It's only downhill from here

Reid turned 40 this year!  I decided that we needed to celebrate with a big birthday party.  We invited all our family and Josh and Natalie.  It was a great time!  We had pizza, salad and cake and icecream.  We played a guessing game with all questions about Reid.  We had lots of fun and glad that he is our husband, dad, brother, son and friend.

New Year's festivities

We had a great New Year's eve week.  Savanna went to a New Year's Eve YW/YM activity at the skating rink, it was an 80's themed party so she dressed up like the 80's and had a great time.  That evening we went and celebrated the New Year with the William's family.  We had pizza, played games, laughed and just had fun.  It is so nice to have friends.  New Years day we went over and had a soup party with Reid's whole family.  Even Jeff and Claudia came.  We had lots of yummy soup and bread bowls and enjoyed one another's company.  On Saturday we went sledding up on the Hill in Iona and watched the kids play their first game of the new basketball season.  Savanna and Mitch both did well.  We can hardly believe it is time to go back to school, just like a flash the holiday break is over.  But it will be good to get back into the routine of life.
