My baby is growing up!

She's so proud of herself!

I am so sad, Carolina started crawling a few weeks ago, and starting yesterday she is starting to pull herself up to things. This cannot be happening!

Busy weekend

The birthday boys- Elijah and Easton

This has been an unusually busy weekend, but filled with lots of fun things, so I am not complaining.

To start off the weekend last night we celebrated my nephew's Easton and Elijah's birthday party. We had a little party over at the Beck's home. It is always fun to get together and enjoy one another's company. Sometimes I feel like we spoil these kids a little too much, but then I just need to remember it is only once a year that they get a birthday. And they feel loved, which is most important.
Last night after we came home from the party our niece Emily came and slept over, she came up for the weekend with Uncle Danny and she wanted to spend the night playing with Savanna. They had lots of fun playing.

Then today I hosted a baby shower for my friends Heidi and Michelle that I work with. It was kind of funny because for some reason I thought that the shower was at 2 pm, but low and behold it was at 1pm. So I was really glad that Andrea (another friend that was co-hosting) came early to help get it ready. I thought that is was strange that she was coming over at 11:30 to help get ready, I thought to myself, "you really don't need to come 2 1/2 hours early " It's a good thing she did come, or else I would have not been ready when the guests started showing up at 1:00.

This afternoon also Savanna got to go to Easton's "friend" birthday party. They went to the movie, and had a great time! While Savanna was at her b-day party and I was having the shower Reid took Mitch and Treyt to his Mom's to hang out with Grandma Mickey. I think everyone had a good afternoon.

Unfortunately the only pictures I got were from the b-day party last night.

Blog Book

I got my 2008 Blog Book in the mail today, and I love it! I am super excited. I think that the book turned out great. It is about the same quality as a high school yearbook. Anyone is welcome to look at it if they would like to. I would definately use Blog2Print again in a heart beat.

King of Bunker Hill

Everytime it has snowed this year Reid has piled the snow in front of our house and slowly made a sled hill for the kids. It has turned into quite the hill and the kids love getting their sleds out and playing on it. I had to get some pictures! It is great to get the kids out of the house and let them release some energy!

Our week in pictures

I found some cool sponge rollers to put in Savanna's hair. She wants to grow her hair out, but I am not very good at doing hair so we will see how this works.
She didn't love sleeping in them.
Looks like rags tied in her hair.

This picture doesn't do it justice, but the curls turned out great, big and soft fun curls. We will definately use them again.

Kate and Carolina. Kate loves to play with Carolina, it is so cute.

Uncle Steve giving Treyton and McKay a horsey ride. The kids love playing with Steve, he is a really fun Uncle.

They couldn't get enough of this game.

I love this baby girl. I bought these red shoes when Savanna was a baby, and I never had anything to go with them. So when I found this red dress at TJ Max for $12 I had to buy it!

This last week was just your average week of school, work, homework, housework, etc.. boring stuff. But I got some good pictures of different things that I wanted to share.

Also on a different note, I am super excited because I ordered my blog book. It should be coming this week. I can't wait to see it. I hope that it looks as good in person as it did on the computer. Now I can feel like my blogging wasn't in vain. I will actually have a journal with pictures in it.

His birthday cake

Reid turned 35 on January 9th. We celebrated by going to sizzler the night of his birthday, which was really fun and yummy. And then the next day we had a little birthday party for him at Club Zero. It was fun to get everyone together and play and have cake and ice cream. He also got lots of fun gifts.

This last week Reid actually was home on most of his 4 days off of work. (He works shift work 4 days on and then 4 days off.) He also works side jobs and usually lots of over time days at work so he rarely actually gets his 4 days off of work. But this week he was home 3 of the 4 days off. It was so nice to have him around. I wish he could be home more like that. He is such a big help with the kids and the housework. I am glad that he is my husband. Happy Birthday Reid!

Randomness

I haven't updated my blog for a long time, not much has been going on. But here are a few pictures that were taken over the past couple of days. Mitchel is always wanting to take pictures, so some times we just have random pictures. I thought they were cute.

Mitchel holding Carolina- he loves his sister.
Mom and Carolina.

Carolina loves her bouncer.
I put Carolina in my bed the other morning after having been up with her a lot in the night. Treyton came in and found her and snuggled right up to her. I thought it was so cute I had to take a picture.

Sara and Shane Williams Wedding

The newlyweds!

Sara and Shane's wedding was on Saturday January 2nd. It was a beautiful white snowy day. But the wedding was wonderful and the dinner and reception was so much fun. (The only major problem of the day was when my cousin's husband threw up during the ceremony.) They had a dinner and the reception at the Colonial Arts Center in Idaho Falls. It is a beautiful building. She had a band and they had a dance, and a chocolate fountain. She had tons of people come and support her and the family. It was really fun to dance and see the kids having so much fun dancing. It was a great night! Congratulations Sara and Shane!- I hope you have a blast in Hawaii on your honeymoon.

Happy New Year 2010!

Chocolate fountain fun!- Don't you love Alex and Treyton's chocolate smile?
Savanna doesn't really like chocolate, but she tried it anyway.

Treyton- he thoroughly enjoyed himself with the chocolate- if you can't tell.

Mitchel was more concerned about bowling with the Wii.

This year New Years was a little low key, and a bit different from normal. Reid had to work both New Years Eve and New Years Day. We spent New years eve with the Fuhriman family. Corri brought her chocolate fountain so we enjoyed a fun chocolatey feast on New years eve. Then on New Years Day we also went over to Reid's parents house and had soup in soup bowls (delicious)! We also took the kids sledding for a little while in the morning. It was a good holiday! The kids had lots of fun playing the Wii with their Hamilton and Anglin cousins.
