It's great to be 8

I can't believe that my little Treyton is 8 years old.  He is anxiously awaiting his baptism, but in the mean time we celebrated his birthday with a bang.  On Friday night the 24th we had a birthday party celebrating Treyton, Gidean, and Grandpa's birthdays at Leo's place.  They had a lot of fun playing with their cousins.  We were excited to give Grandpa tickets to a BYU football game.  On Saturday we went to Lagoon as a family which also happened to be Treyton's actual birthday.  Then on Sunday we had a birthday party with the Sargent family.  Grandma even made Treyton his favorite meal which is ribs for dinner.  Treyton got a new suit coat and a back pack with a camel back for hiking in it, he was very excited.  He also got a new scout shirt and book from Grandma Sargent and a fun race track from Grandma Fuhriman.  He had a really fun weekend celebrating!

Lagoon 2014

We were lucky and blessed enough to be able to go to Lagoon this fall.  We had been wanting to go all summer and fall, but there were too many conflicts.  It was a really fun day, but incredibly crowded.  We decided the next time we go we will do it during a weekday for sure.  But I am still glad we got to go, and the kids had a blast!  The only problem was that Carolina threw up on the way down there in the van, so we had to make a Wal-Mart stop, buy her a new outfit and clean out the van.  Then towards the end of our night Savanna got lost.  She misunderstood where to meet up with us after a bathroom break.  There were thousands of people there so it was terrifying, but thankfully we found her before too long.
