I think summer is finally here!

We also put the sprinkler under the trampoline

We had a picnic lunch.

Yesterday was so nice! The kids spent most of the day outside playing in the water. For Mitchel's birthday he got a spider man slip and slide from his Grandma Fuhriman. He has been begging to get it out for weeks now. I told him that it had to be at least 70 degrees, and then when there were days that it was at least 70, we had lots of other things going on. So finally yesterday it was warm, and we were free so we got it out. It need air pumped in it, and Reid was working and since I am kind of clueless I had my newly retired Dad come over and get it set up for me, the kids had a blast playing all day with their cousins and neighbors. What a fun day!

Kindergarten graduation

Savanna and our neighbor Madison Carter
Savanna and her teacher Mrs. Davenport- she was a great teacher!

Savanna and Andrew Messaros

This is the kids marching to the front- if you look close you can see Savanna in the middle.

Savanna had her Kindergarten graduation last night. It was so cute to see them marching up the rows like real graduates. Of course I started to bawl, and I cried more during the slide show with all the cute pictures of all the kindergartners. Savanna has had such a great experience this year in Kindergarten. She loved her teacher, her classmates, and her school. I feel really lucky that she had such a great experience her first year. She learned a lot and I am very thankful that she was such a great student.

Memorial Day fun!

Today was a fun day! We got up this morning and Reid and the kids worked for several hours trying to get our garden spot ready for planting. This is our first year of actually using the garden spot. Last year we planted some vegetables in our back flower bed by the house, but we decided that we would do the full blown garden this year. What a great year for us to do that, we'll see if the garden actually turns out with having a newborn.

Then this afternoon we had a picnic at Freeman Park with the Romrell family, it is always fun to see my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The kids had fun running around and playing with their cousins.

Tonight while I sat in the lawn chair, Reid and the kids planted the garden. I can't wait to have fresh corn on the cob, cucumbers, pumpkins etc....

Old Navy nightmare

I woke up Saturday morning and realized I needed to run a few errands for the day. I needed to get McKay and Kate birthday presents and get some groceries and a few other things. I took Savanna and Treyton with me because Mitchel was still fast asleep and so was Reid. On my way into town I remembered that Old Navy was having their sale on flip flops for $1. So I thought I will just hurry and stop there first and buy a few pair and then go to Walmart. I got there a little after 10:00 am, and it was a mad house. You would have thought that they were selling diamonds for $1.00, but Savanna was so excited to get some new flip flops that I couldn't leave.

So we went and picked out a few pairs of flip flops, got McKay and Kate some new summer clothes, found Savanna a new pair of Sunday shoes, and Mitch and Treyton some needed new swimming suits and we were ready to leave. This was when the fun began, the lines were almost to the back of the store. I would have just put the stuff back and left, but Savanna had her heart set on her new sunday shoes (and her new flip flops). We stood in line for over an hour, about 1/2 way through Treyton started crying uncontrollably and wanted to be held (which about killed me at 9 months pregnant.) But we finally made it through bought our merchandise and were able to leave. Next time I will pay $2.50 per pair of flip flops and avoid the craziness! After that adventure I still had to brave Walmart on a Saturday- which seemed very mild in comparison to my Old Navy experience. By the time I made it home I was already exhausted for the day.

Mitchel's tumbling recital

Last night was Mitch's tumbling recital at the Civic Auditorium. It was really fun to watch him perform, he does the best headstands! He was so excited afterwards because he got to keep his hat for his costume.

In other news, yesterday I was having major pains in my lower back and stomach. I really thought I was in labor, so I went to the Doctor, but nothing! I must have been having false labor or something. Today I feel quite a bit better, but still kind of crumby. Less than 2 weeks to go!

Bump on a log

2 weeks 1 day to go until baby's birthday. I have found that I have days when I have lots of energy and get lots done, and then days like today where I feel like doing nothing! I'm a little frustrated because last week I spent lots of time cleaning and I realized this morning that my house is a mess again. I guess that is what happens when you have 3 little kids, I've just decided that I will do what I can do and not stress about things. I have all the baby clothes, and onsies clean and ready to go. Now I just need to get through the next 2 weeks, luckily there is lots going on like dance recitals, kindergarten graduation, and tying up loose ends at work before I go on maternity leave to keep me busy.

Oh my, what a day!

I woke up today with a renewed sense of energy and determination to get a lot done. I decided that since we will be having a baby here in less than a month that I needed to get some major things accomplished. This may have been my first mistake, because while I was trying to focus on cleaning the laundry room, and cleaning out cupboards and organizing a few things; these are just a few of the messes that happened.

Treyton drew all over the couch and entertainment center with a black permanent marker. I was able to get it off the entertainment center with the help of Mr. Clean magic erasers. No such luck so far on the couch.

While cleaning out a cupboard Treyton found an old bottle of lotion, and while trying to get the lid off it exploded all over him and my clean kitchen floor.

Just after the above incident was cleaned up he then found a bottle of kids paint that he managed to get the lid off and poured it all over the floor. (Luckily this was also washable paint.)

While my visiting teachers were here this evening Treyton had a major poopy diaper that I was unaware of, because he was in the other room with Savanna. She trying to help takes off his pants and his poop leaked all over the floor, causing not only the poop mess, but my Savanna to throw up. So I have to clean up poop and throw-up on the bathroom floor. (Luckily it only got on the floor not the rugs.)

About 15 minutes after that I was getting everyone out of the bathtub, while also trying to get dinner on the table and Mitchel starts having a coughing fit, and throws up on the carpet in the hallway.

During dinner, Treyton spills his milk all over the table, his food and the floor. (This happens about twice a week, so I shouldn't be surprised, but at this point I was finished, and about to cry.)

Reid I can't wait for you to get home from work!!!

Gymnastics

This is Savanna getting her medal
This isn't a very good shot, but she is actually jumping on the balance beam.
Savanna doing her floor routine

Floor routine

Savanna had her gymnastics competition today. It was cute to watch. She got really nervous during her routine, but she did great. At the end they all got awards, because it is for young kids they made sure that everyone that participated got an award. Savanna won 3rd in her floor routine and 4th in the balance beam. She was so excited!

8 years

Today is our 8th Anniversary. I can't believe that it really has been that long. I have been thinking lately with Leah getting married that I would never want to do the 1st year of marriage over again. It is kind of hard adjusting to being married, having a new family to get used to and just learning to live with someone. But for me every year keeps getting better, and I am glad that I am married to Reid. Happy Anniversary!

I'm house sick!

I got a call tonight from Mitchel who is in Salt Lake. He said "Hi Mom". I can't believe how bad I miss them even though they should be back tomorrow. I said "Mitch, I miss you so much." He then said back "I'm house sick." and it sounded like he was about to start crying. I talked to him some more, and he told me about how he is helping Dad fix the roof and that he is being a good boy. When I talked to Reid he said that Mitchel is a little home sick, but that he was fine.

I just wanted to get in the car right then and drive down to Salt Lake and pick him up. I think having my kids away from me is harder for me then it is for them. At least they are with their Dad and cousins and I know that they are being taken care of. I feel bad, but Savanna and I had to stay home so that she wouldn't miss her field trip today, and I don't really like to travel this close to having a baby.

Fun Day!

Savanna trying to help her cousin Elijah do one of the arcade games at Leo's place.
Ruth and McKay.

After the zoo today Savanna and I decided that we needed to do something else, since it is just us girls for the weekend. (Reid took Mitch and Treyton to Salt Lake to help put a new roof on his sisters house.) So we called my Sister Ruth and my Mom and we met up at Leo's place for lunch. The kids played and played and we all had a great time.

Fun at the Zoo!

This was the group of girls I was in charge of, they couldn't have been a better bunch of kids!

I had the great opportunity today to go with Savanna's kindergarten class to the zoo on their field trip. We had a great time, and it was so fun to see Savanna interact with her friends from school. They were all so cute.
