Christmas 2012

This was one of the best Christmas season's I have ever had as an adult that I can remember.  We got an early Christmas present and found out at the end of November that Reid was going to be going back out to the site to work starting in January.  We are very excited that he doesn't have to drive truck anymore, although we were grateful for the job this last year it was very trying to have him on the road.  We couldn't really even stomach him driving even for another month so he gave his notice to Doug Andrus and has been working construction for a friend this last month.  We feel very grateful that he has had the work and mostly that he gets to come home every night.  I know that this job loss happened to us for a reason, I feel like a lot of things have been put into perspective in our lives and most importantly we have felt our Heavenly Father's love for us through this journey.

We had our usual Christmas eve celebration with the Sargent Family, we enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner at my parents home and then headed over to the William's house for our annual Nativy scene and talent show.

On Christmas morning we got up and had our own present opening extravaganza, then we went over to my parents house and had a yummy breakfast and opened presents with the Sargent family.

Then later in the afternoon we went over to Reid's parents and had a delicious turkey dinner and opened presents with the Fuhriman family.

This is what Santa brought Savanna, a motorscooter, some books, the movie "Savannah Smiles", and a watch along with a few treats and small items in her stocking.

Carolina got twin baby dolls (Charlotte and Slade) a twin stroller, a crayola set, some books and a watch
Mitch got a motorscooter, some books, a Doug Andrus truck, and a few items in his stocking
Treyton got a motorscooter, an Army guy play set, some books, and stocking stuffers.

We all got spoiled and enjoyed much time with our parents, sibling and cousins.  The kids can play for endless hours with their best friends who happen to be their cousins.  What a blessing!

Santa also brought some new Wii games
 The kids loved their stuff.

Reid gave me this Simon Dewy painting, I love it!
