Adventures in the truck

Mitchel watching a movie during his road trip.

They drove through Yellowstone

Mitch got to help unload fertilizer- who knew there was so much work involved in trucking- we did!
They saw buffalo

This is where he loads all the salt that he delivers in Grantsville, UT.  It is right by the Salt Lake, and it is Morton Salt.  There is so much white stuff it looks like snow everywhere.

Me relaxing in the sleeper

This is where we unloaded the salt in Butte, MT, it is a lot of work getting all of that salt out of the hoppers, you have to shovel, sweep and really sweat to get it all out.

During the week of April 30th-May 4th Reid took Mitchel with him on the road in the truck.  Mitchel had a great time with his Dad on the road.  It was a great time for Mitch to spend some quality time with his Dad.  It was also nice for Reid to have some company while being away from home.  The very next week I got to go with him for 3 days.  To be honest I was not very excited about the prospect of spending all that time cooped up in his big rig, but I ended up having a great time.  It was just so nice to spend that time with Reid one on one and to be able to see what he does every day.  It really made me appreciate all the hard work that he does for our family.  I am married to a great man, and wouldn't trade him for the world.

wow!! It's is fun to see a glimpse into the secret life of Reid....I always knew he was a hard worker. That is neat you and Mitch were able to join the fun/work, and make some cool memories.

Great pictures. I knew it was hard work, but didn't really think about it. But seeing the salt, and him unloading, I realize now. I know he has to tarp and untarp too. Yes, he is a great man. It is neat to see the pictures, and the smiles on Mitch. Some great memories.
