Okay, I watched from the ground what that helicopter was doing, and it looked way too risky & dangerous for me! I'm glad you guys survived the ride. We were at the picnic for the last two hours. This was the first year the girls were old enough to enjoy going on the rides and eating the treats. I think we'll go earlier next year.
Good luck on your 1/2 marathon! When is it? I'd like to train for one, too, but I won't be ready for a long time. I was thinking of maybe doing one in October/November in Boise. The Zeitgeist, or something like that, is what it is called.
