Happy 39th Birthday to me!

Reid and I before our Saturday night date to Olive Garden

Reid got me some cute jeans for my birthday!

The Conovers got me a cute saying that says "Money can't buy happiness, that's what shoping is for." With some cash, which I used to buy some new garments!

Reid got me a blue tooth, since we are always on the phone with each other!

Yummy strawberry cake! I also got a 1 night stay in a hotel room from Reid's parents, how fun is that! I am so excited to use it.

The Anglins got me a new shirt and some jewelry

Yummy cake at my parents house- I think I gained 5 lbs in a day.

The Sargents got me some earrings and a new purse

Reid and the kids got me a new purse

The Beck's got me some shirts and a pair of capris
I also got a Kindle Fire-from my parents (if I ever get a chance to use it I will be excited, Reid and the kids love playing with it), a nights stay in a hotel room from Reid's parents, and The Williams's family got me some exercize pants and the NieNie diaries book. So excited to read it!

I may seem like a bit of a narcisist to be posted about my own birthday, but honestly I don't care if anyone ever reads my blog. I just got my 2010 and 2011 blog books and I love them, and it was a good reminder about why I blog, it is simply my family journal and scrapbook and so I want to document all I can. I now have 4 years worth of blog books and they are so fun to look at.

This year I turned 39! I don't feel one bit ashamed of getting older, I am not at all worried about turning 40. I feel like I am in a good place in life, I am healthy, I am happily married to a great guy and I have 4 great kids that are growing up way to fast. I am proud of the stage of life I am in.
This year for my birthday I really got spoiled. Reid took me out to the Olive Garden for dinner on Saturday night, just him and I and it was really nice. After that we went to walmart- pretty romantic isn't it. Then we picked up a movie from Red Box and came home and watched it with the kids.

On Sunday we slept in and then watched conference (I love conference sunday!) I loved all the messages from conference and felt like many of the talks were written and given directly for me personally. Then we went to Reid's parents house and had lunch with them and celebrated my birthday with a little party.

Then we watched the afternoon session of conference with Reid's parents and Lori and her kids and then we went over to my parents house for dinner and another birthday party. ( I said that I was spoiled.) It was really nice! And then the spoiling continued on Monday when I went to work and had some more fun presents from co-workers. I feel very blessed and loved.

A week on the road with Dad

Savanna getting ready to go to bed in her bunk.

In the passenger seat.

Heading in to South Dakota

Another North Dakota sign

Finally back in Idaho!

Carolina and Mitch were so excited to have her home!

Savanna had the great opportunity to spend her spring break with Reid in his truck on the road. It was kind of a crazy week because the normal loads that he does aren't there right now, they are waiting for the salt contracts and so they had to haul fertilizer and grain to South and North Dakota. So she started out her week on Sunday after church going up to Helena, MT where they delivered salt, then down to Ogden where they delivered lumber, then over to Soda Springs to get fertilizer, then to South Dakota to unload the fertilizer, and then to North Dakota to pick up grain and then home to IF. It felt like a really long week for me having both Reid and Savanna gone, but it was nice to know that Reid wasn't alone and he had a traveling companion. I think Savanna had a lot of fun, but was relieved to get home last night and sleep in her own bed.

Alex's bridal shower

Alex will probably kill me if she see's the pictures I posted. We made her try on her little nightie's, over her clothes of course. She looks so cute!

She was a little embarrassed with some of the gifts, I won't tell you what she got!

Carolina loves Alex!

Chris was busily writing down what she got from who.

A fun honeymoon basket.

Some of the girls at the shower. We had a great turn out!

We played a game that if she didn't get the same answer that Nathan (her fiance) came up with she had to put another piece of gum in her mouth. She did really good and only had to chew a few pieces.

The cute bride to be.

My cousin Alex Hepworth is getting married in April. I can't believe that she is old enough to be getting married, I still remember when she was born, she was born a few days after I graduated from High School. I remember her spending so much time at our house when she was a little girl and being so in love with her as a child. She has worked with me at Koala Kids for the last several years and so it has been really great working with her and getting to know her again as a teenager and adult. Leah and I hosted a shower for her on Wednesday night and invited all the girls from Koala Kids, it was a fun night and it was great to see her embarrassed by all the fun presents she got.

Fun on the dirtbikes

My kids are very lucky little kids to have some dirt bikes to play on, we are ruining our grass by letting them ride around our yard, but who cares. They have so much fun doing it and I love to see the huge smiles on their faces.

Sarah and Savanna playing checkers- can you tell we were freezing while the cabin was warming up!

We enjoyed another successful weekend at the Hamilton's cabin in Park City, UT. The weather was just perfect for the weekend, it had snowed the week before so there was tons of snow, but it was nice and sunny outside. The kids had fun playing with their cousins, they all get along so well. This year was a little strange because it was just us and the Hamilton's and Grandpa Fuhriman. None of the other siblings were able to go this year, we missed them but we still had a lot of fun together.

Reid had to deliver a load of lumber in Salt Lake on friday so me and the kids and Reid's Dad drove down to Salt Lake in the truck and picked him up, then we headed straight up to the cabin. We took our snowmobile which we were so glad we had because it hauled most of us and our stuff up to the cabin. Reid had tons of fun playing around on his snow machine. He only got it stuck once.

The boys and the kids went on Saturday down to the pond and ice fished, but Corri and I and Carolina and Anna stayed behind in the cabin and just relaxed and visited. It was really nice to be able to relax away from home. Then Saturday night we stayed with the Hamilton's in their home. They are always such great hostess's. All in all it was a great weekend, the only thing that could have made it better was if my wonderful hubby could have come home with us instead of having to head out on the road again.
