Carving Pumpkins 2011

Treyton cleaning out his pumpkin

What a good Daddy! (Can you see what show Carolina is watching in the background?) Cailou of course!

Savanna- oooh yuck!

Mitchel with all his pumpkin seeds!

Lots of pumpkin guts!

Carolina finally joined in the fun, Reid found a cute cat face that he made for her.

All their master pieces! Thanks Dad!

And with their Halloween costumes on (except for Carolina)

And with the lighted!

Burr, it's cold outside! (see my dead flowers? I need to clean them out!)

Scary!

I don't enjoy carving pumpkins, and I am no good at it. Thankfully we have Reid who is such a good sport and enjoys doing it with the kids. This is something he takes the lead on every year with the kids. This year we had 4 great pumpkins in our garden and we were excited to use them for Halloween, but when we tried to bring them in yesterday they were rotten. So we had to go to Winco and buy some. But the kids and Reid had lots of fun carving the pumpkins yesterday and I think that they turned out very cute!

wow! what awesome pumpkins! You and the anglins need to have a pumpkin parade! You made some pretty cool ones! Treyton, Grandma is so glad you had a fun birthday. You are growing up too fast!

You're so cute! I do the bare minimum for holidays (which I really ought to change), and carving pumpkins does not make the cut. It's just such a mess! They turned out way cute.

O I am so glad Reid could be there to carve pumpkins with the kids. I am sorry about your pumpkins not making it from your garden, that is discouraging. The punpkins turned out great!! You are such a good Mom Rach!!!
