We went to Bear Lake this last weekend with the Fuhriman family, we all had a lot of fun and came home exhausted. The weather was great and so was the food and the company. We were introduced to Bear Lake 6 years ago when my sister Sara planned our Romrell reunion there and ever since we have been hooked and love going there. It is such a beautiful relaxing place with a fun kid friendly beach. Would I rather be in Hawaii or the Caribbean? Of course, but since we can't afford to do that and we live so close to Bear Lake we will try to go there almost every year if possible.
The kids love to play on the beach, and could stay out there for hours. We camped at Rendevous Campground on the South side of the Lake, it is a really nice campground (all except the grumpy old man that is the camp host). He kept coming and yelling at us for every slight infraction- Ok, already you can be polite about it can't you. The only other complaint I have is that now I am finding sand everywhere I turn. Oh well, it is worth it for the fun memories!
We found this was the only way to get her to take a nap, take her for a ride in the bike stroller.
My cute husband setting up camp.
Carolina found a bag of chips, I think she ate more sand than chips
Treyton just loved playing in the sand. They all spent hours collecting sea shells
Savanna and Sarah
Aaron and Reid setting up the blow-up trampoline that Aaron brought. It was a lot of work setting up and taking down. Was it worth it?.......yes! At least it was for me, you would have to ask Aaron if he thought it was worth the effort.
Mitch
Carolina as happy as can be, she has her chips and a chair her size, what more can she ask for?
I had to take this picture of Corri hauling all her beach stuff. Really nice of me to take a picture rather than go and help huh?
Roxanne and tired boy Cody who didn't want to take a nap
Reid, Carolina, James, Sarah and Treyton playing on the tramp
Grandma and Gideon
Corri and baby Kali, and Brad enjoying the sun
Savanna getting some water to make their sand castle
Mitch dug so deep he found water, he thought that was so cool

Grandma and Grandpa eating their lunch. I'm sure that they love that I took a picture of them chewing their food.
buidling their sand castle
Another nap, only this time the two of them.
Roxanne burried Mitch all the way up to his neck, he thought that was so cool.
Savanna needed to have her turn to get buried.
