Easter 2014

Easter is always such a wonderful time of year!  I think that it is my favorite holiday.  I love remembering the Savior and the hope that comes from His resurrection.  It is also fun to spend so much time with family.  It is a lot like Christmas (I also love Christmas), but Easter doesn't seem to be as stressful with all the gift giving and the stress of the money being spent.  We always have fun Easter Egg hunts with both sides of the family.  Some pretty delicious holiday meals and lots of bonding with brothers, sisters, cousins, Grandma's and Grandpa's.

We also got to celebrate Charlotte and Slade's 2nd birthday!  They had a fun "Monsters" theme, because that is their current favorite movie.  They are so dang cute!

We finally died our own eggs at home!  I am glad we did, we didn't do it last year since we were in Albuquerque and Carolina doesn't remember doing it before that because she would have been 2.

Mitch was hanging out without a shirt- he actually went snow skiing today with the Sargent's- he had a blast!

Reid helped his friend Josh set up a dirt bike trail on his new property up on the Iona Hill.  Reid has taken the kids up to ride on it a few times this spring.  They have so much fun!

Brigham Taylor Perkes

Leah had a cute baby boy Brigham Taylor Perkes on March 18th, he was a whopping 10 lbs 10 oz.  He is really cute, I was at the hospital when he was born by c-section.  They were a little concerned about his breathing and his sugar levels probably because he was so big, so he spent some time in the NICU, but after a day he was fine and all his well with baby Brigham.
