We decided very last minute to go up camping to Fall Creek on the 4th of July weekend with Danny and Reid's Dad and James. We literally got ready in like 2 hours and were on the road. It turned out to be a fun over-nighter and was really fun and relaxing. We took up the kids dirt bikes and they had a blast riding around, and I think James had fun riding too. On Saturday morning we got up early and went on a hike to the lower Palisades lake. It ended up being a much longer hike than we had anticipated, we took all our kids with us and they got very tired (so did Mom and Dad). But it was a great experience for us to teach us that we can do hard things. One of the highlights of the trip was stopping in Swan Valley and getting a square ice cream cone. I hate to admit it, but I have learned to love to go camping, it is just nice to be out of the house and be able to relax and enjoy the family and the beautiful world!

You're kids rock! Way to do hard things, and still come out with cute pics:) It seems like a really long time since we've been camping. I miss those adventures!Glad you could have a good time.
Looks like a lot of fun! I am glad that dad and Danny went with you. It is really pretty.
