Seattle trip- Day 5 & 6- Drive through Oregan on our way home and a stop in Boise

We got up early Monday morning to start our journey home.  We decided to take the scenic route and drive through Oregon.  It really was beautiful.  We tried to go through Astoria to see the Ocean but realized it was going to add several hours to our trip and that we would actually have to take a Ferry to get out to the Ocean and just decided it wasn't worth it.  We did stop and see Multnoma Falls which was gorgeous.  Monday night we stayed in Nampa with Reid's Aunt Chris and Bob Aird, they were so generous and fun to stay with.  We enjoyed our visit with them and then we headed home on Tuesday after stopping at the Capital building in Boise and checking out he Idaho Candy Company where they make the Idaho Spud, it was fun.  We were sad that our trip was over, but also glad to be home.  We feel very blessed that we were able to have such a fun trip!

A long day in the car, they were all asleep!

Seattle Trip- day 4 The Columbia Center, Ferry ride, the beach and Seattle Temple

On Sunday which was our last day in Seattle we went up to the Columbia Center which is the tallest building in Seattle, you can go up and see all the sites of Seattle, that was very cool!  We then went on a fun Ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, went and hung out on the beach for a bit and then drove to see the Seattle temple and then back to Ben's house, by this point we were all exhausted from all the fun we had packed in!
The view from the Columbia Center, it was awesome!

Seattle Trip- day 3- Snoqualmie Falls and the Supercross Races

One of the main reasons that we went to Seattle this week instead of spring break was because Reid has been dying to see a Super cross Race, there just happened to be a Super cross race happening in Seattle the week after spring break.  Reid couldn't think of any better reason to have the kids miss a few days of school than for this.  (It was really ok, the kids didn't get behind at all) and we had tons of fun.  Snoqualmie Falls was beautiful.  The Super Cross races were fun- poor Carolina and Andrew both fell asleep, but we would do it again in a heart beat!

On our way to the Super Cross Races we had to take a picture of the field that we watched the Mariner's game at

The Super Cross was at Century Link Field which is where the SeaHawks play football, it was an amazing place, this was a picture from outside the field

This would be Reid's version of heaven
